It’s a beautiful, bright and sunny day. Spring has definitely sprung. The first daffodils and crocuses are out. This is when I most appreciate living in a rural village, it’s been a long, wet, soggy winter and the splashes of colour suddenly emerging really do induce feelings of happiness and optimism. Some trees are already getting tiny, tight buds and a few are showing off with splendid displays of blossom.
